Celebrate convocation

The banner reads One Hundred and Thirtieth Convocation, along with the University's coat of arms and motto.

Convocation is a time to honour academic achievements and celebrate a major milestone with family, friends, and the entire Waterloo community.

Held twice a year—spring and fall—at the Physical Activities Complex (PAC), convocation is a proud tradition where graduates wear academic regalia, take the stage to receive their diplomas, and hear inspiring words from university leaders and honourees. Each year, we proudly confer more than 7,000 bachelor's degrees, 2,000 master's degrees, and 350 doctoral degrees, recognizing the dedication of our graduates and the impact of their studies.

Join us as we celebrate this unforgettable moment. We look forward to seeing you there!
